Several were finished, picked up and sent out.

I rejected two on principal and they are being replaced and re-done.
Hiram's was not done and that was ....discussed at length.

I am trying to find another local place that can do this for me as I am so incredibly frustrated with the never ending delays and screw-ups.

I am trying guys!

So ask me how happy I was that yours was not FUBAR'd.....
Apparently, a journeyman there on an apprenticeship "bumped" the control setting and increased the burn cycle...by A LOT!!!
The shop is paying to replace the cutters from a local B&M and I gave them the freekin directions on how to get there...he wanted me to play go fetch....my answer...#$%^ NO!!!

OK...I have this back on track.

What a PITA!!!!

I have a new vendor that will burn for me.
Other one replaced two of the damaged cutters and I ate the third...but have replaced it from my local B&M.
This batch to be done and shipped out end of next week or I don't pay for the laser work...

Just little update...

I've been trying to get a hold of the guy that is burning the cutters and was getting pretty frustrated and today I found out why.
He was killed in a motorcycle accident.
The shop has been closed down as they dealt with the loss.

His partner knows a guy that goes to our church and sent a message/cell number to call him so I did.
The work is there but he needs to see where completion wise it is and he will call me tomorrow or Tuesday.
The only reason he even knew about the project (it's off the books) was because of the drama that came from the other shop...apparently everyone in the tool and die community now has heard about this "pissed off cop and his cigar cutter thing..."
He was going through his bench and found them...he hasn't been able to bring himself to go though his stuff yet but he was looking for another project and stumbled across the boxes...and had an "Oh shit..." moment.

Guy, I have to say something.

I received my humidor cutter, and loving it. A very good laser engraving job, I have to say.
I does take some time, guys, have faith, Echo will deliver, it is just that finding shops to do small batch work is really difficult, and the good shops are always back logged.

Good luck, you all will get your ARCOM cutter, and like me, will be loving it.
