Be very careful using any cleaners on a Meerschaum pipe. The stone is highly porous.

With the everclear, i would suggest putting it on a rag and scrubbing, as opposed to pouring it in/letting it sit like we often do with briar pipes.

Meers do not ghost so scrape the bowl, clean the stem with clear alcohol and pipe cleaners, sanitize with alcohol lightly sand if you wish to remove bite marks, It is an acrylic stem so no oxidation to deal with. Wipe with a lightly damp rag and let dry. When warm rub with 100% beeswax and buff with soft rag. Enjoy.

Everclear for the bowl and stem.

Toothpaste for the shaft/tip....not for the bowl.

But here is a real good tutorial...
