Brother....I am sorry to hear this.
If there is anything I can do....ASK! I will honor you request and pull something very nice. I have a bottle that I was saving but I think it's appropriate to open now...it was a gift and something I never would have splurged on. Let's just say it sat in a cask long enough to go out ad buy it's own drink. Echo |

Thank you. Its been rough these past few years without my Dad.
Now without my grandfather, I dont know what I will do. He told me yesterday that his time had come. He had a good run and that he is ready to hug my Dad again. I had to draw every bit of strength I had to not cry after he said that. My grandfather was never the same after my Dad passed away. |

 Here is a picture of my grandfather and my daughter. He loves his great grand babies. Which are all girls. LOL This was taken Apr 5. |

I know it's tough, especially after losing your dad, and I really don't want to sound like an asshole, but my grandparents were born about fifty years before I was, so I realized that I probably would outlive them.
The photograph is really touching, and it shows how much he cared for the little girl. (little girls are special, anyway, to grandfathers) The only thing you can do is cherish the memories you have. Nothing will ever take them from you. |

As of Friday at 1pm, my grandfather went to be with the Lord. He will be missed.
