So a few weeks ago when my humidor shit the bed I ran up to the local B&M for another hygrometer. One for the tupperware I was storing my sticks in and one for testing my humidor. The Xicar PuroTemp round hygrometer I bought was a no calibration, ready to go out of the box so I stuck it in my humidor. At the same time I recalibrated my run of the mill rectangular one from heartfelt industries, 75% on the money over a 24 hour period. Decided to go ahead and test the xicar anyways and it wouldn't get above 61% over almost 48 hours. I was just wondering if anybody else had this issue with the round Xicar hygrometer or not? I mean for damn near $30, I expected something that worked.

I sell the Purotemps. Good unit, but about one in twenty is way off when you check it.

Small hassle, given the lifetime warranty.
