Savinelli Dos Campeones Coraje last night.  Tasty cigar, but it was terrible to get lit then after a bit burned
unevenly.  Still enjoyable though.

Comacho Equador. Was a freebie from the cigar store when I purchased some Don Pepin black labels.

The first inch was kind of funny and had a taste I really didn't care for that I couldn't put my finger on. But then it got better and by 1/2 way it got pretty good ad the end was really good.

I might try one more at a later date to see if the odd taste at the start is in all of them.

Papagayo XXl & some eagle rare last night for old echo.

Might have to revise my not a bourbon fan status.  Eagle Rare was rather tasty & a slight splash of water really brought out the leather.  Great pairing.

sorry Echo...

I am truly shocked and appalled that noone has tried Hererra Esteli Nortenio.

By far the best non- LP cigar made by Drew Estate.

I wish could smoke more and post more but paying for a wedding isn't cheap so I had to cut way back on cigars in order to keep the boss lady happy.

Maybe here after Christmas when I get caught up with bills I'll be able to try some of the new stuff that's come out in the last few months.

Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 Perfecto.  Got it from cigarbid (damn you guys BTW, I didn't know about that place until y’all told me)

I was surprised at how good this smoke was.  Held ash well.  Burned even.  Started a little spicy, followed by mellow chocolate, ending in a strong leather

Trying some economy cigars.  Signature Series Vintage 2005 Maduro

This cigar has tons of potential.  Creamy, cocoa taste to start.  Second half licorice predominates.  Mild to medium.  Good draw and aroma.  I got tired or relighting it after it went out for the 5th time, uneven burn and tunnelling.  This is a known issue with this stick, probably won't buy again because of that.

It's been 4 years or so since my last cigar. After some asshole stole my stockpile and all my old boxes out of my dorm room, I was too pissed off to start all over again

Tonight I was offered a Flor de Las Antillas and after a bit of convincing I accepted it.

It's good to be back

Should look into getting the pudgy monster box set.

I smoked a box and have another on hold for me.

Thanks!  It was pretty fun, but the nicotine kicked the seat of my pants - first cigar in a few weeks because of the cold weather...

Economy series continues with a CI Legends Orange Label by Rocky Patel.

Prelight aroma mostly earthy, but not strong.  Avg construction, started unraveling, but didn't interfere with smoking.  Great burn and draw.  Never needed to relight or fix.  Plenty of smoke.  First third very little taste, almost bland.  Second third brought in some cream.  Last third brought in stronger flavors, mostly licorice with an occasional hint of oak.  Held ash very well, up to 1.5 inches before falling off.

Middle of the road.  Nothing offensive, but nothing that really wants me to come back.
