My Father "Lounge Edition"
A gift from BIGSHOVEL, thanks brother.
This thing has been resting a while, and it's great.
Anybody gets a chance to smoke one of these, don't pass it up.

I'm really growing found of small sticks. I haven't had an hour and a half to two hours to smoke in weeks, this fills the void perfectly.

Oliva Serie G Robusto on the drive to work this morning.  This may end up being my go-to commute cigar - nice 45-50 minute
smoke with a little time left over to air out my car  And it goes well with a traveler mug of coffee.

So in review.

Felipe Dominicana robusto on the way home from work last night.  The wife smelled it on me and was angry that I had
smoked in the car
RP Vintage 2002 Petite Corona on the way to work this morning.  It was a good smoke, but the cap was messed up
and almost completely came off when I cut it.

Looking at how many posts in this thread are mine, I'm starting to think I have a problem...  Or you guys aren't smoking enough cigars

Maybe a bit of both

I haven't had much free time the last 2 weeks, so no cigar.  But you have been smoking plenty for me!

Well, I'll stop after I say this - tried my first ISOM today on the way to work

Probably not a big deal to some of you guys, and it was a lower-end one, but I'm still pretty excited!

Sancho Panza Non Plus from 2006.  An hour drive, and for a smallish cigar, I wasn't even near finished it by the time I pulled into the parking lot.

I have a feeling a box of these to tuck back for aging may be in my future.

I'll try harder...
Fuente Reserva last night  still MEH.  Not a Fuente fan. paired with some hard cider I jest kegged

Sunday=  Camacho Ecuador, 601 Habano & a Camacho 10th anniversary.  Paired with some spaten octoberfest & a cabernet.
Saturday=  601 Habano, Pre Davidoff Camacho Corojo & a San Cristobal Papagayo...multitude of beers (if anyone brings beer with pumpkin whatever to my house again I will shoot them in the knee.  Flushed with Lagavullin however)
Friday=  Triple Maduro &  some random red blend that Suckling gave 94 points.  I think the guy is a snob but his pretty accurate on the wine ratings...cigars, I dunno.

That's as far back as I can remember

What else did I miss?

601 Blue Last night

The liver is fine.  It is excercised regularly.

Not sure what is on deck for tonight....Triple maduro, Ecuador (these are damn good if you have not yet tried them & easily the best of the new Camacho fam.) or a san cristobal...

I am predicting snow tonight @ casa de frigid so some lagavullin will be in order by the fire pit

601 blue x 2  Paired with lagavullin & a little cider.

I must go get  some fresh local cider while they have it.   this stuff came out pretty darn good  & is reeaaaly handy in the keg.   Will also have a guiness clone kegged soon as I pick up a fresh botte of Nitro this AM.

Gotta get ready for winter....

Friday night I had another SP ISOM with my dad while drinking a bit of Ardmore to celebrate his upcoming
birthday.  He drank a few other types of scotch, but I'm not a huge liquor guy.  Good times!

I haven't had any either!

Perhaps I will crack a bottle to see next weekend.   20 lbs or better of honey takes awhile to settle down

Camacho Ecuador & a 60 blue last night.

I'm serious.  Still needed to rest.  I am going to try a Black currant mead I fortified with brandy this weekend however....just for you.

Over the past week or so

I have smoked

2 JR Alternative Padron 1964

2 Padron 1926 80th anniversary

And a few pipes.

I wonder if I need to pop open that cask that has been sitting in the basement for a few years now, just to taste.

It is similar to a Jack Daniels barrel, just has some homemade stuff in it.

It is from a friend. I am sure he bought it at a store.
