Pete had some kind of lotto for some stores to get an advance release and a shop about 1.5 hrs from me won. I called a few days later and they told me all the boxes were spoken for but they had a few loose one. I went down there and they wound up selling me a box.

Macanudo 1968 Robusto - Although reviewed as a spicy, full bodied Macanudo, I didn't find it to be so. Not a bad cigar, but fairly bland.

DPG Blue robusto. Not a bad smoke at all.

Had some unexpected company for the majority of my smoke time. I smoked it out back of my power plant during some down-time, and had a ringtail cat hanging around and checking me out for about 45 minutes of my smoke time. Funny little buggers. I'm going to have to start bringing my camera to work on the night shift some time. Of course, that will likely ensure that I don't see mister ringtail again for a while.

Last night I finally received one of my orders from CBid.  In it were four Alsc Bradley American Blend churchills.  So, I smoked one of them.  Good cigar, but needs some time in the humidor first.  You know that smell when you cut live trees, bushes, etc.?  The last third of that cigar tasted alot like that.  Not bad.  It just needs time.

Going with a freebie tonight- Monte Christo: discovery 750 limitada lot-98 series A. For the price I paid, fantastic smoke. For the $11.99 pricetag- it's a little harsh on the throat, a little bland on the flavor, but not bad. Just overall- mediocre.
