THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Instead of 'notching' the upper reciever lapping bar (so the dust cover could be closed) why not just remove the dust cover while wrenching on the rifle? He said the lapping bar would still function, but I could see myself screwing it up. |

This would work just as well, and then no need to notch the lapping tool, good call
