I'm not really a decorator or good with colors in general. This is a finished attic that I'll use as a hangout or whatnot, just need some help with paint colors that may go well in here.

I was thinking about a tan and maybe a deep red color but not sure. I'm not against a blue or green accent wall, just thought deep red would be good.

I'm moving into a house that a room has been painted a peach color, and I don't like it none too much. Interesting shape as it is an attic, side walls are about 6 feet tall with slanted wall sections on top of them going up to about a 2.5 yard wide flat ceiling.

I would think dark red would make the room feel too small.  I would go with tan and white trim.  My house is small and every room is tan with white trim.  It has a clean look and and doesn't make it seem so small.  I'm not a fan of dark colors.
