I have one that I had made out of teak, it has lasted 6 years so far, no problems.

Mine is plastic-coated steel. It is about 10 years old and has not rusted.
Plastic-coated steel is vulnerable if the plastic coating breaks. This allows water in under the coating and rust is inevitable. Watch the rack carefully remedy the problem at your first opportunity. Plasti-Dip comes to mind to repair a cracked coating but there are other ways to re-seal it. |

Find one made of plastic with no metal involved.
Stainless almost invariably requires heat treat and passivisation after welding. |
