THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I feel like I'm being jerked around..
I'm ordering this from a company : top bearing bit ¾ x 1-1/2 depth f cut 3” overall ½ bearing designed for composite and fiberglass.
and so far I've gotten back
"Just received the bearing and part. Will do the specs Tuesday and get with you!"
"You were going to send other bearings to me? I’ve been waiting"
"I’m sorry Skammy, I couldn’t get to the e mail quicker! I had you confused with another Skammy with the same last name! "
"You were going to send me a piece of a pipe with 1 accommodating bearing to be used! This was month ago! You wanted a reamer to ream out the id of the pipe to accept the bearing."
There wasn't any discussion of pipes or bearings to send him.. so I'm confused..

Buy AMANA, CMT, WHITESIDE, or FREUD brand router bits.

It sounds like you are, or at the very least, the company isn't very professional. I know that Freud makes diamond coated bits but they don't have a top bearing. That isn't a big deal though, because you can press a bearing on and fit a stop collar over it, like manufacturers do. However, that might be best left to someone with the proper tools to do it without damaging the bit. It wouldn't hurt to give toolstoday a call and tell them what you're looking for and see if they can help. I'd reckon they can. |
