So, puttzing in the garage, dug out a Sheffield Labs "Direct to Disk" Thelma Houston record which I hadn't played in what, 30 years?

Old Technics SL-3 turntable.

Sure enough, just as soon as I touched the vinyl with my Discwasher, it stopped- broken belt.

Hit fleaBay, and have one ordered, but damn, I wanted to hear that thing.

Pulled the elastic from a dust mask, cut it thinner, then measured and super-glued the thing together.

And, dang if it doesn't work!

I can hardly believe the sound from this thing!

Old JVC amp, equalizer, JBL studio monitors, Cambridge Soundworks sub woofer, JVC surrounds.

Improvise.

Overcome.

EEEeEeeeeeEEeEeeeEEeEEeeeeeEeeeeeEeeeeeeeeee.
