Lots of threads on the movie over the last week.  I'd say you're in the minority.  Overall opinion seems to be not quite as good as the first, but entertaining nonetheless.

1/2 the movie was trying to explain quill's dad who he he is and what he wants, the other 1/2 is spent harping on the we're family now...and the visuals in the 2d movie about put into a seizure because they were making it so busy for those watching it in 3d...

It was way better than the first.  But that is my opinion.
