Need help getting my TV lined out at my country house...  2nd House is two hours south of St. Louis in a town called Fredericktown...

Rural area but in town with with lots of towns nearby, not out in the sticks by any means...

Don't want to pay for Cable here, need Broadcast signal, I can't be the only one doing or trying this...

TV is a Samsung 51"  PN51F4500AFXZA says it has a DTV HD Tuner, so I should not need a STB, just an Antenna...  Tried a non Amplified antenna, set it to scan for On Air Digital Broadcast channels, tried antenna in every spot and angle possible, I got ZERO Channels...

Took antenna back and got a GE Amplified antenna, was like 40.00...  Same thing, took it home, hooked it up, set to scan, tried every angle, no dice...  Would really love to get a handful of locals and anything remote that can be pulled in...  No attic, house is a rental, so outdoor/Pole antenna not an option...

I can't believe this thing won't pull in even a few channels...

Pop in the city/state in the box to the left.

It says there are some weak stations (mainly the ones from the first link). They base signal strength off an outdoor antenna 30ft up. So you may be SOL for an indoor antenna.

Yea, I may have to push my luck and speak to the Landlord about putting up a Pole Antennae...

Thanks...

Yes, it's a lot of information but it's better to know what equipment works in your area vs. buying and trying a bunch of stuff.
