Looking for the hive mind to help me out here.  I bought a new home in 2014 and had a lot of prewiring for various things.  I have a closet in the "media room" with all my gear IE receiver amps router BD player etc.  I have 8 speakers on impedance matching volume controls, patio bedroom kitchen etc.
I normally connect my phone to a bluetooth adapter and start a playlist and leave it while we sit outside and drink beers.  Well I would like to not have to leave my phone inside IOT control what we want to hear etc.
Is there a Bluetooth to cat5 adapter or someway I can have the receiver outside near the patio and then be wired to the Media closet?

any suggestions ?

For a plug and play solution, Sonos or a similar company should have a solution.  The music streams from a server server (can be any PC on the network) or even your phone to a box that converts it to an analog signal.

A cheap route would be something like a Raspberry Pi as the digital to analog converter.

What phone are you using?  What's your budget? How tech savvy are you?
