At first glance, this film may be mistaken for your typical beaten up BS. It is in fact however, more of a mystery film than a "taken" sequel.

Yes, Liam is more than a match when the guns come out as is evidenced by the first five minutes of the film. But the majority of the film is asking questions and deducing the truth. I particularly enjoy his questioning the gardener.

I won't spoil the film, bit I will say that you won't find a better film for showing folks why you carry.

Makes sense. If you're not Muslim and don't have any guns to protect yourself, converting is waaaaaaay easier than getting your head chopped off.

I'm kinda understanding what he may be thinking and the fact that he said this shortly after his wife's death makes perfect sense. Think about it:

You have been one religion forever, then something life obliterating happens and it shakes you to your core. Your priest has no satisfactory answers. Your lost and adrift.....then one day you go somewhere where religion is more than just a routine motion, its something meaningful rather than just something you do because you were raised to it.
