Just got back from seeing it, thought it was one of the better Marvel movies of the past few out. Much better than Iron man 3.

The tombstone was a nice joke.
A bunch of references during the targeting scene. I recognized a few of them but probably missed a lot as I've never read any of the comics that tie into these movies. When hydra guy said you cut off one head and two more pop up he was obviously talking about Shandling, who currently has enough head for two or three heads I give the theater staff credit, they let people know that started leaving after the first credit scene that there was a second. That said, the first credits scene was worth it, but the second one wasn't. I think I sat too close for 3D though. I was in the 4th row but it's the new AMC recliner seats so it was the equivalent of row 7 or 8 for normal seats and most of the hand to hand fight scenes were hard to watch |

The movie has already raked in over 96 million dollars in the states in three days, making it the largest domestic debut in April ever, and has taken in $300 million worldwide since it was released overseas last week.

Took the wife and kids to see it earlier - great flick, we all loved it.
I had to explain a lot of the Marvel cross-references and other Easter eggs to them (and this film had more than usual), but I grew up reading all the comics and am used to doing that.

Pro-freedom…a shot of the Bible….I’m not sure how a movie like this even came out of the new Hollywood.

I played hookey today to see this. 3d has given me headaches in the past, but I wish I had seen this in 3d.
I'm not sure it's my favorite Marvel move, but it was excellent. I think the complaints about the first Captain America here showed how people do not understand the character. I think people confuse the fact that he is uncompromising with "being a Boy Scout". Captain America is the guy who when you give him an unconstitutional order and say "Don't forget you get free dental" he kicks your teeth out of your head. And Batroc finally got the respect he deserves, tres bien! Ha ha |

yeah I thought the first was great until they went to War, thought they kinda did it poorly. The second one except for a few minor things was pretty great. was surprised.
