THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Statement from the network: "After much deliberation, we’ve come to the difficult decision not to renew The Killing
for a third season. AMC is incredibly proud of the show and is
fortunate to have worked with such a talented team on this project, from
showrunner Veena Sud and our terrific partners at Fox Television
Studios to the talented, dedicated crew and exceptional cast.” Never liked the show, tried as I did. Sarah Linden reminded me of Scully from X-File, but with a "who farted" look on her face all the time. Two seasons just seemed to go on forever. |

I liked it.
However, I saw it coming how things ended in the second season. Doesn't matter anyway. I'm a dish customer and we just lost AMC. Ugh. |

The main character was about as compelling as watching dog shit dry out in the sun. Couldn't get into it at all.

I liked it, the guy who played Holden is a decent actor. It would make sense that it would only be two season anyways since the original euro show was only two seasons.

I watched both seasons. The 2nd season kind of ended the main story. I suppose they could have started a new line but this works out.

After the announcement there were the usual "American audience only wants instant gratification". I don't expect CSI-style crime solved in an hour, but after all the misdirections and red herrings it just got so tiresome. |

Fox Television Studios is attempting to shop the show to other networks.

I watched the first year, never watched this year.
So, who killed the girl, finally. After all the run around, I probably did.. But, real question, who whacked her? |

I thought the second season was much better than the first and wrapped things up pretty well. I don't really see where they'd go with a third season anyway.

They'd have had to start a new murder scenario.
