Haven't messed with your link, but this is from the "Base"page...
"Based on the failed June 28, 2005 mission "Operation Red Wing." Four members of SEAL Team 10, were tasked with the mission to capture or kill notorious Taliban leader, Admad Shad. Marcus Luttrell was the only member of his team to survive." Never heard of it till now.... wonder if this is why Marky Mark was looking very "buff" in Ted? |

It's based on the book of the same title by the lone survivor of that mission, Marcus Luttrell. I liked the book. It should make a good movie.

The cast for Lone Survivor has been released on IMDb.com. I am very happy with everyone that is in the movie. I don't care about their height, weight, measurements, political views, or personal beliefs. Every actor involved is fully committed to keeping it real and honoring the men that they are playing. There is a group of SEALs that will be on set as consultants. There will also be SEALs playing parts in the movie. I hope you join me and support this movie and continuing to spread the heroism of my fallen brothers. Txfrog |

I'm not a big fan of Marky Mark, but can be a decent actor. There are a few movies he has been good in like The Fighter and The Departed.
