44 minutes

a movie about the North Hollywood shootout in '97

the movie looked like they tried to recreate the shootout/ events of the day as accurately as possible.

I loved the end of that documentary.  So bleak.

Batman v. Superman: The Dawn of Justice

very flashy visually, the story was so-so.  It was long, 2h 25m

Re-watched a favorite of mine.  I hate Michael Douglas' character, it really doesn't belong in the movie.  The film would have been better off without him.

Last Man Standing starring Bruce Willis...I know it's an oldie but plenty of 1911 action.

The Trust.  A pretty good heist movie starring Elijah Wood and Nic Cage as two support staff police officers who discover the vault of some kind of organized crime outfit or cartel, and decide  to break into it even though neither have any experience at all in heists.  A lot better than I expected and kind of funny with Nic Cage playing a goofball and Elijah Wood as the straight man.

The Boss

Melissa McCarthy plays a big business mogul that loses it all for insider trading, then tries to build it up again when released from jail.

stupid, raunchy humor that had some funny parts

I'm re-watching this.

Whatever happened to Lisa Bonet?  I can't think of anything she made since this movie.

Open Grave

about a man who awakens in a open pit of dead bodies and can't remember who he is, or how he got there.

I thought it was a decent thriller

Hardcore Henry

a live action movie of a video game.  The movie is shot from the point of view of Henry in a single action shooter video game

lots of action, it was well done and interesting.

*warning* lots of 'shaky' cam video in this one

Blue Ruin

a homeless man hearing that the murderer of his father is to be released from jail, goes on a revenge mission.

this character isn't some former Navy Seal, or a psycho of some sort.  He is just an average, mild mannered guy that wants revenge for his father's death.  He gets some help from an arfcommer along the way

this was a really well done little independent film

Green Room

a punk rock band takes a gig at a remote club that is a neo Nazi hangout.

things fall apart when one of them sees a murder at the club and they have to fight for their lives to get out

it was meh

Django Kill... If You Live, Shoot! - 1967

This is a very strange spaghetti western.
Despite have Django in the title, it has nothing to do with any of the 25? Django movies made over the years.
Django Kill is unlike any movie I've seen for a long time.
