I liked it.  It may be the only Nicholas Cage movie worth watching.
Dennis Hopper plays a real good asshole and he's not even the villain.
The director, John Dahl, also did The Last Seduction.  Another excellent neo-noir.

YMMV.

I agree, for a Nicholas Cage movie, it was good. I think you didn't get my reference to a line from the movie.

Episodes 6, 7 & 8 of Season 5 of Game of Thrones.

Yes, it is better than the books.

Episodes 9 & 10 tonight, then the year-long wait for Season 6 to come out on Blu-Ray.

I just got my Blu-Ray Player in.  The differences in viewing my regular DVD's are mixed, going from No Difference to Very Good.

Some of my DVD movies DO NOT look better on the new player and I'm not going to get Blu-Ray's on them when I get the chance.  I guarantee that if Phoebe's Cates Paradise ever comes out on Blu-Ray it'll sell millions within a few weeks.  As a whole I'll be replacing my Regular DVD's with Blu-Rays about as fast as I can afford to.  But not all of them.

Currently I'm watching Patton on the Blu-Ray.  I don't know just yet if it's worth getting Blu-Ray just yet.

I just finished the scene where's he's in the hotel room with the mirrored ceiling.

My All American

the true story of Texas Longhorn safety Freddie Steinmark,

who, despite being undersized was given a scholarship and started as a sophomore.

then during their national championship run of '69, he is diagnosed with bone cancer.

it wasn't real flashy, nor clichéd, but it was well done. A touching, inspirational story.
