So...what's the deal with him? I have listened to many of his debates.  Today I heard he was excommunicated from the RCC .  What did he do?   My google is weak I suppose.

I understand he went the sedevacantist route.....I have not heard of  a formal excommunication though.

A Sedevacantist believes the Chair ("sede") of Peter is empty (vacant)  - i.e. - we have no Pope. Given how the Church has gone over the cliff since Vatican II, this seems to some to be a logical explanation to some. I don't buy into it; we have just had some really bad popes, the current one being the absolute worst in my lifetime.

Where did you read Matatics was excommunicated?
