Saw it with wife tonight it was enjoyable and had a lot of good reminders of how to live our lives.

Thanks, Buck, for the review.
Me and mine are always looking for an inspiring movie. We look long and hard. So when we hear of a good one, it's cause to see and celebrate it. I am old enough to remember the Chair, Newton Minow, of the FCC speak about movies on tv back in 1961: When television is good, nothing — not the theater, not the magazines or newspapers — nothing is better. But when television is bad, nothing is worse. I invite each of you to sit down in front of your television set when your station goes on the air and stay there for a day without a book, without a magazine, without a newspaper, without a profit and loss sheet or a rating book to distract you. Keep your eyes glued to that set until the station signs off. I can assure you that what you will observe is a vast wasteland. |

I thought it was an enjoyable movie. The acting was very good. Both lead actresses gave outstanding performances. Also, the ending prayer was strong.

Wife wants a separate prayer room in the new house now.
I want a full chapel but it would be more work. It will be interesting to see what we come up with but we both think a dedicated space would improve our relationship with Him. |
