My dad is a diabetic.  No, hes not an over weight, lazy, sit on the couch eating junk food and sucking down 2 liters man.  He weighs 175 lbs soaking wet, worked 2 jobs for as long as I could remember, bc he couldnt sit still, and diabetes just runs in our family.

Called me the other day to come over to 'talk to me.'  He had a sore come on his foot that wouldnt heal and he didnt go to the doctor.  Hes in the hospital right now, trying antibiotics to get rid of the infection.  At best, he is probably going to lose 2 toes, they are talking about taking his foot.  

He has just starting going back to church, hes seems to be in good spirits but he hides his emotions.  I am an emotionally person and right now I have to hide that.  Guess its my time to step up and be the back bone of the family.

I know I act like a jerk in GD at times and ask for forgiveness alot but if you could lift him up in prayer, it would be greatly appreciated.

Most definitely will pray for him. My mom has it also I feel your pain.

Today the swelling has gone down and not as red.  Doctor said the antibiotics seem to be working.
