KWS does really good work... Are you running a ZFI-TC? I installed Bazazz's traction control on mine myself and paid someone to dyno tune it. He got it a little better than the auto mapper was able to.

Simply a motorcycle.

Since '69 I've ridden every flavor of Harley Davidson.  I like the FX's best.  I crumpled my '01 RoadKing in 2010 and replaced it with this '07 SuperGlide.

Yes they do.  I am not big into the TC.  Just something I can't get used to. I feel like you can control the bike better than having a variable system kick on and off during random times.

Tuning is the way to go, bc you can zero in on creating more power with the current mods or fuel your using to create the best smooth curve.

Chevy is a 60 Apache. It lived its entire life in California until I bought it off EBay last fall. It is truly rust free. It has a 350 with a Borg Warner T10 4 speed. It will soon be low and fast. Probably black.

The HD is a 1980 Sturgis and the Triumph chopper (mix match of quite a few parts and years) I have had for a long time. They get ridden frequently in the warmer months.

Picked this up today. 1984 XL600R with 5636 miles for $630 runs ok, carbs need cleaning, won't run without the choke on, battery is dead. Everything works, only damage is a crack in the rear fender, some tears in the seat cover and a missing kickstand.
Looks like the original tires.

Yup, I tickled with it. I just pulled the engine, to replace all engine seals and valve seals. Being it's an 1984 with only 5k miles I'm sure that the OEM rubber seals are all hard. I can see where a little oil is weeping around each seal.
Figure on replacing fork seals also.
Every time I look at it I'm amazed at the shape it's in. The inside of the fuel tank looks brand new, zero rust. All cables work freely and the brakes work. Heck the chain even looks like new.

Thanks dude put some work in.  I don't have garage space for it so I have been working in the late winter in Iowa in my storage locker.  The folks from Xarc are sending me different rear turns and the rear fender is in getting painted now.  I took it for a ride on sunday the new tips sound great.  I very much regretted taking the front fender off so early though because the roads were still sloppy.

Put this together this winter...it's a like/hate feeling with the polished wheels.  I don't normally like shiny things on bikes, but hey...they came on the bike.  Plus they're different and make the bike look like a Hot Wheels toy.  It was black when I bought it and I painted it red/black.

Thanks all.

I have put 250 miles on it in 3 days. Easily of all the bikes Ive owned over the years my favorite. Easy to ride, comfortable on the street or the highway. Assloads of power and torque. I would encourage any experienced rider to jump on one. Definitely NOT a bike to learn on though. Absolute blast.

First off, I am NOT a cruiser guy...

But, I have literally clicked to this page three seperate times on three seperate days and everytime I stopped on your first picture and said to myself "now that is one bad bike".

Its freaking sweet looking. A smaller rear fender would be icing on the cake.

Switched out my clip-ons for the original bars yesterday. I miss the sporty cafe look but it simply wasn't comfortable for rides longer than 30 minutes. I need to bring the bars back a little bit and she'll be good to go.

There isn't a whole lot out for extra parts on the indians you can just bolt and go.  I thought about doing a full fender removal on the rear and doing a springer seat.  Its just really hard to get lights up and running on it.  There are some cool hill climber customs out there that are really cool but again nothing I could easily get that could then be made street legal with the needed lights and a plate and stuff.  The show room or full custom bikes are cool and all but many of the indian special bikes the dealers were showcasing couldn't be rode out on the street legally.  I don't trailer my bike around to shows and shit it was 40 and there was snow on the ground for my dog to eat this morning and I was out riding on the shitty roads.  I have my stock fender yet and may randomly decide to do some work on it just for the fun of it.  I have always either been a sport bike guy or a dual sport type.  The scouts a fun bike to ride and I think I will continue to like it but I was seriously eyeing a little honda cr250 elsinore that the guy working on my cafe racer had. I didn't ask how much he wanted in fear I could afford it.

I really like the looks of the FJ's and yours looks good too. I ended up with a V Strom but was very close to an FJ. I prefer the style of the FJ but the V Strom fit me a little better.

After buying my BMW a few weeks ago... (posted above)

I made a critical mistake. I let my wife ride it last weekend.... When we hit our destination she said "Im going to need something that will keep up."

I sold her GSX-R the next day and this came home on Thursday.
