As in 80mph to an abrupt red light in about 200ft. Slid all the way through nearly into a semi that was halfway through the interstection. Thankfully for SUMO I was able to slide over across the ditch and off the road and passed the fucker and got right back on the road without missing a beat haha. ETA- I have been spoiled by ABS. I will go practice emergency braking for 2 hours tomorrow to make up for my sins ETA2 In the interest of motorcycles, I am looking to get out and ride with these dudes before I deploy in a few weeks. Much fun |

In this case implying someone is a squid and then posting a pic presumably of yourself wearing work boots, jeans, and a sweatshirt with fingerless gloves and no helmet or a half helmet is ironic because while most people would associate the term squid with one on a sport bike your picture would also fit the description. I too envy you dual sport guys ! I also have a KX500 that doesn't get a lot of "full potential" usage up here in the tight New England trails. I've though so many times about a high end S/M type conversion. It's pretty easy in New Hampshire. But the justification of dumping $2500 into a $1500 2 stroke with 20 year old chassis technology is a tough call..
