Try this maneuver: Take 50-60 paces backwards. Take several deep breaths. Sprint forward at full speed. Do a triple summersault through the air, and disappear up your own asshole.

My baby is back on the road after an upgrade frenzy.
Attached File New Galfer Wave front rotors, EBC Vee rear rotor, Galfer HH pads, and all 11 lines of the XX's linked braking system plus the clutch line replaced with braided stainless Galfer lines. New DID X-Ring chain and Vortex rear sprocket and -1 tooth countershaft sprocket (45/16 gearing). Race tech springs and Gold Compression and Rebound valves for the forks. Nitron rear shock with remote hydraulic preload adjuster. Two Brothers titanium slip-ons with PX-1 tips. Dynojet Power Commander. Speedo Healer. Hella Sharptone horns (awaiting install). The brakes aren't completely bedded in but the lever and pedal feel are much much firmer. Even without taking the time to bed them in from the first few applications I could detect a huge improvement over the stock brakes. The -1 gearing doesn't seem like much on paper but it is very noticeable when riding. The forks and shock are a whole new world. The stock suspension is designed for 160 pound humans and I'm 6'4" 255 - maybe 270 geared up. Compliance and damping are so much better it's night and day. Dive under braking is way reduced as is squat under acceleration. Riding on the highway is so much more comfortable. The bike doesn't porpoise over expansion-joint flyovers. I could go on and on but this money was well spent. The exhaust was STUPID loud without the PX-1 dB killers. I should have tried to get before and after and after (stock, slip-ons, slip ons with dB killers) measurements but suffice to say no tips was a no-go. With the dB killers the bike sounds meaner at idle with a pleasant, deep burble. At top gear at 70mph there's no annoying drone. Open it up and wring her neck and, yeah, it's loud. Normal, sensible riding is a non-issue. I have stock and piped videos from my GoPro and Sena and they sound almost the same. And then there's the 30 pound weight loss... The Power commander is in stock mode as I was having trouble getting a good map downloaded. A dyno tuning session is in order for the future. I haven't yet calibrated the Speedo Healer but my speedo and my Waze app are about 5mph off at 65. Quick and easy fix this weekend. The horns are sitting on my table. Didn't feel like taking the front of the bike apart today to wire them in. I'll report back. I was wondering if I would notice a return on my investment for the upgrades. The answer? Absolutely!
