While my truck was at the Ford dealer getting a service I sat next to a guy who was having his Focus RS serviced. He loved the car, but it has been towed to the dealer twice for transmission problems. Both fixed under warranty and with a loaner car, but other than that he loves everything about the car. He couldn't remember what the actual failures were, but said when the warranty is up its getting traded in and getting another

I've drove them and done some recall work to them. Fun cars for sure. I'd love to have one.

I own a 2016 RS2. Coming from a 2013 ST3. Have owned a 300whp STi and a 350whp LGT.

The RS is a fantastic little car. Sure, a handful of people have had inaugural model year problems, but mine has been pretty good so far. Have done a couple trackdays with it, as well as RSAA. Very easy car to control close to the limit, very predictable handling, and it does quite a bit to correct driver error. It has a lot of intrusive electronics and doesn't feel as much of a "driver's car" as my STi did, but that doesn't detract from the experience. It's still a metric shit ton of fun to drive.

What else do you want to know?

Can you disable the nanny controls? Completely or only partially?

How is the interior space? Room for people with larger frames or small-to-medium only? (I'm about 6', 215). Are the rear seats usable by kids or for show only? (the rear seats in my 911s worked perfectly fine for the kids)

How is it around town for daily driving / errands? How bad does it chew through tires? What kind of cars does it run with on the track (lap times)?
