Umm... turn the radio up?
What conditions does your Yaris make this humming noise? Driving, idling, running, stopped, starting, 60mph? Is it from the front end, back end, left side, right side? Is it loud, soft? |

Maintenance are well maintain.
Year 2007. Back end. Loud humming. Humming starts around 20mph and it gets louder the faster I go. |

It could be a wheel bearing but I would lean toward a tire that is suffering tread separation, etc.

Is there any special tools am I going to need if I decided to do it myself?
I'm not a car mechanic but, I did replaced the water pump, brake shoes and pads in the past. |
