This warm streak lasted long enough to get the toys out for a coupe days.
I'll take light weight with a small engine, over heavy with a big engine every time.

Your user name doesn't quite jive with your automotive choices.
But, Colin Chapman was right - add lightness wherever you can. Do you know who Ed Pink is? Pretty famous racer and engine builder throughout the years. He has a great weight test: If you're trying to decide if a particular component is too heavy or not, simply throw it in the air. If it comes back down it's too heavy!

Know how I know you're short?
Im jealous If I were 7 or 8 inches shorter I would build a Caterham 7 kit quicker than shit. What does the 7 have for an engine? |

5' 10" and I can barely reach the peddles in the Caterham. It's an early 90s kit. 900lbs and around 110HP.
