I have had plenty of used vehicles and this truck is replacing a 10 year old, 150,000 mile suburban that just started having electrical issues. So I figured at 41 years old it was time to buy my last vehicle and I wanted a truck. With the rebates and "free" Ram box, I couldn't resist

I had ten trouble free years with my Ram.

But what's with this "last truck" stuff?

Yay new truck!  I was 36 before I bought my first new vehicle, and that was because of the panic of 13.

Wait til you put it into park when trying to turn down the blower fan

Might I ask, since both GM and Dodge do the 20%-25% off MSRP deals often, why you went with the ram?

Nice looking truck.   At 41 yrs old you have at least 2 more vehicles before you retire.

I've owned several Rams and just prefer them to GM. I have never had any trouble out of them. This one came with $16,000 in rebates since I used an affiliation program.

Nice. Last truck was a 2014 ram 1500 set up like your just with out the ram box (had a cap on it). Was a great truck.

Only issue I had was a reoccurring oil leak at the filter that turned out to be a faulty filter nipple. That was replaced and no issues after.

Enjoy

Nice truck!  I just rented one for a day to go pick up some chemicals while my diesel was getting serviced, and I was pleasantly surprised!  I averaged about 18.5 mpg on a 550 mile trip through the mountains 65-80mph.  Plenty of power to climb the grades too!

I'm looking to get away from diesel and into a crew cab truck.  I like the Toyota but the design is dated.  I like the F150 and would go for the EcoBoost but am hesitant.  I think I'll consider the RAM after my drive in it the other day.

Good luck with your new truck!

Nice but it looks like they forgot to give you a front diff, X-fer case and a driveshaft.

Friend just got a new 17'', have to say it's pretty dang nice and rides well with the coil springs in the rear.

Hell, they forgot to give him the rest of the bed!
Back when I was a kid there used to be vehicles with 4 doors and a little space for some cargo in the back.
We called them " sedans".

I don't believe any of the cap makers have a model that fit's rambox sides.
The rambox bedside also protrude further into the bed, and I think the bed overhang where most caps get bolted to, are no longer there.
