Not knowing this, I made a comment about how few times in the last 20 years of racing has Rossi ever messed up, especially in the lead. This was with all of us going "Come on Zarco, just don't bin it". Then Rossi binned it.

For Rossi to chase down Vinales and pass him (after having Zarco blocking for so long) was superhuman.

For Vinales to pass him back was even more so. Rossi got the red mist and binned it, with major implications to the title chase.

Rossi doing this at his age shows his incredible talent... Even though he is winding down.  Lucky for him he is still second in the Championship by a few points

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Binned it in the last few corners.  All that for a "DNF" and a drop to 3rd overall.

Jorge came out of nowhere, but soon retreated back to nowhere.

Rossi ran a helluva race, considering his condition. But damn, those Ducs are FAST on the straights.

[SPOILERS]

Holy shit! I thoug Davies was going to be dead or paralyzed when area ran over him. Amazing he got up and tried to pick up his bike.

Came away with chest injuries and one fractured vertebrae and he had to sit out the next race.

For those that didn't see the race, this was last lap, three corners to go, I believe. Melandri, running in third, also fell on the last lap and Sykes went from fourth to P1 without passing a soul.

I felt terrible for Van der Mark falling off while leading.

I saw it.  Poor Chaz.

I dont know why I cant seem to like Rea.

Rea moved up a notch in my estimation at the end of the 2016 season race when he let Sykes through for a Kawi 1-2.

The guy can wring that Kawi out, that's for sure.

Tough break for Chaz, but I'm glad that he's not hurt worse.

I watched that last night. He was riding like a girl.

Seems to be he has failed the test of many true champions that moved to another marque and continued to win.

This whole season has been awesome. In the olden days, you wouldn't see a privateer anywhere near the front, let alone on the podium. While I hate the four strokes, this racing is pretty exciting.

Jeez what a shit show from Rossi and his crew. You'd think, with all his and his team's experience, they'd have learned by now when to change bikes.

Every single time he stays out too long.
