My little sister needs to replace her spare tire in a 2004 Mustang she recently bought.  It came with a doughnut rim/tire mounted but she wants to get a full sized spare tire (she's a smart kid ) for emergency use.

Where's the best place for her to get a single rim?  She's getting ready to replace the tires currently on the car, and is planning on picking the best of the pulled tires for spare tire duty.  Obviously the replacement wheel she picks up doesn't need to be particularly good looking since it's just going to be hanging out in her trunk; it just needs to be safe and functional.  I'd prefer not to send her off into the wastelands to deal with Craigslist weirdos.....

FWIW, she's in the Augusta, GA area.

Thanks!

I would check Craigslist or similar sites, eBay might be a good choice too, local junk yards would also be a good spot to look

Full size won't fit flush into the trunk well.  She will lose about 2"-3" of trunk space since it will sit taller.  Pull a tire off the car and try dropping it in place.  Not sure if the diameter will even fit.
But check with MPS auto salvage in GA.

Craigslist.  Best bet would be to get a whole set for like 300-400 and sell what you don't need for 300-400 and get the wheel free.

on a 04 she better have Bullitt wheels on there as anything else (except Cobra wheels) looks like shit.
