Valve cover gasket leaking in plug tubes.

I would doubt that would be happening on a 2012 with that tub design.

Don't work on them.  I stick with German cars.  If I see that it's the valve cover gasket

That plug isn't from a 2012 3.6 Wrangler engine.  Tapered seat, and the threads are the wrong size.

I'm just gonna go ahead and throw it out there since we are all thinking it. The op is a liar. Caught in a lie TWICE because he changed his plugs and they came out looking new like we said they would.

Soooooo, I'm not really sure what's going on here.

OP replaced his plugs, but then again he didn't replace his plugs?

I'm so confused.

No proof either way. At this point, what does it matter?  I did a quick search for the spark plugs that go into those engines and the second pic clearly is not correct.  Take it how you will.

08 Honda Pilots have been known to use oil from the piston ring gaps lining up on the cylinders that are deactivated during VCM mode. Not that that has anything to do with a Heap.

Op said he changed his plugs and posted a pic that linked to a honda forum ( pic wasn't his ). Op changed said pic after he was called on his lie. Second pic he posted is not from his vehicle either.

For anyone that cares.
2012 wrangler 3.6 plug vs a random 3/4" reach tapered seat plug.  Pulled the jeep plug about an hour ago.

How many miles on the Jeep plug?

Although, I know not the same I have a 2010 with 34k miles. I used to get 20 mpg

(indicated) and had not checked in a while. A couple weeks ago coming

back from the beach I cleared it out and it was getting over 21 mpg, My driving

is mostly city with frequent stops and starts. I know that is harder on plugs than

highway cruising. I am going to follow the manufacture suggestions unless it

starts running bad.

Only about 50.  The whole rig has around 25k on it.  This thing has been an ongoing project for the shop.  A kid broke it through the ice and hydrolocked the engine and broke a connecting rod.  The boss bought  it from him and we fixed that part and dried it out.

Anyways it runs great but it has a odd random rough idle, so I just had the plug out to check TDC and verify the cam timing.  Which was dead nuts on BTW.  I just work on it when the shop is slow.
