Since it's nearly Halloween, let's see a "Haunted House". Maybe it's the seasonal one put on by the VFW, a local Volunteer FD, School, or Scouts - or maybe it's that old abandoned house where you used to or your kids now dare each other to go up and look through the cracked or boarded up window cause "Old Mr/Mrs. So and So will getcha.......

It's been a little too cold for my comfort level for me to ride lately. I only have a mesh summer jacket...I've been meaning to buy a nicer, cool weather jacket for nearly 2 years now...but there is nowhere around here for me to try any on

I'm picky, and an odd size. They would tell me to fuck off before I found one I liked.

If I'm paying $200+ for a jacket, I will scrutinize it

A few months ago, I did find a Joe Rocket I liked at the local cycle store. Although it was easy to find because it was one of two in my size out of a couple hundred....and the other one was a $1k KLLM

Didn't have the money at the time, and I really hate giving that dealership money (long story)...

Dang, this picture looked way better while i was taking it. Turners Falls, Mass. The dam is under the Gill/Montague Bridge. There is a Hydro-plant just down the way.

This is what it looks like from the topside. Also called "Great Falls", it was a stopping off place of the Mohawks travelling up and down the Connecticut River. And that thing there you see is the bridge spanning right over the dam. I searched for the date marker but couldn't find anything. They have a "Great falls" history museum but i didn't go in.

Next up, a cool bridge. Preferably the underside of it.

P.S. thank God for global warming. I think today's riding may be the last in while.

I changed the oil and got ready for retiring for the season.

6 inches on the ground today with more coming on Wed. I am going to light the wood stove and climb under my fluffy comforter and dream about spring.

Nah that doesn't seem fair to suggest a challenge for something I already did.

I'm going to have to be a little more conservative this year since I crashed on some black ice last winter. But it is dry out and there have been some 45 degree days.
