Looking for good price and quick shipping of quality parts.

Need front shocks, front bearings and sway bar links for a 1999 Ranger 2WD.

No fancy Tier 1 stuff, just basic parts.

They're expensive with shipping. They used to rule on prices, but not anymore.

I've done well with AutoPartsWarehouse and PartsGeek, both send out free shipping and discount coupons almost daily, and ebay has some very solid parts vendors that have crushed the online stores prices.

Gotta really watch their compatibility charts tho, they're often wrong. Double check and verify part numbers before you trust them.

Look part numbers up on Rock Auto. Then order them from Amazon.

Kinda goes without saying relative to the original post.  If you ain't savvy enough to figure out what shit you need, head to the B&M shop and trust your fate to the HS dropouts......

Sometimes gets sticky with cross numbers or item descriptions that don't list aftermarket numbers...just giving a head's up.

I look up the parts elsewhere and then search on amazon.  Amazon is too hard to find parts.

Step 1:  Go to Rockauto and use their parts lookup.

Step 2:  Copy the manufacturer and part number you want and paste it into Amazon. (ie Motorcraft DY-1144)

Step 3:  Purchase from Amazon (especially if you have prime).

Step 4:  Install said part.

Step 5:  Enjoy and reflect on all they money you saved by not paying Rockauto's shipping rates.

Amazon, Rockauto, and Ebay are what I use.

Amazon isn't always cheaper than Rockauto.

This.  Depends on what parts, Advance Auto runs 15+% off by ordering on-line and picking up in the store.   That way if its in stock and I need it today, price is pretty close to online.

I've done 1 day delivery (Depends on city) for auto parts from Amazon, usually $5 or so.  It was cheaper than NAPA, Advance and Autozone with discount.

I go to my local NAPA store and talk to the counter guy..
zero shipping, discounts prices  and if I have a warranty issue...I get looked after.

Same could be said for Amazon.  I had a warranty issue and they honored it.

but you're paying for shipping,etc.
I'm not against buying online and if I can't find the part through my local parts stores I would buy online...but I much prefer buying from a knowledgeable person face to face..

Shipping is free.  And with prime it is free second day.  that includes the replacement as well.  Even when I buy locally, i order online and pick up in store.  I have yet to find a knowledgeable person.  I especially liked when the person told me a dirt bike didn't exist because that year wasn't in the computer.  I would rather they hired a minimum wage person, sell the part cheaper and I'll do the research.
