I've got a friend looking at an 09 Tacoma with 106,000 miles on it, TRD, leather, topper, all the things that she wants. Any concerns with that year? Would that mileage scare you off?

I had one new for about 35k.  No troubles whatsoever, only traded it for a 4Runner.

The drivetrain is pretty solid in them; if it was maintained well I'd figure you should get 300k out of them.  Just check for frame rust, as some of them rust really bad if you don't stay on top of it.

109,000 miles?  Barely broke in.  Change the oil every 5,000 miles and it will go 300,000.

Thanks guys. I knew they lasted a long time if maintained, but that's good to read. Should timing belt or anything have been changed by now?

It has a timing chain. Wouldn't be a bad idea to check normal wear/tear items like tie rods, ball joints, etc. but if it stock those are probably fine. Check frame for rust, which shouldn't be a problem if it has been in CO its whole life.
