Damn! Beat by 6 minutes. I'll edit out my tasking and let you pick the next one. Nice work man.

Pun intended

Got a twofer.

Next up, I want to see your bike with a feature unique to your geographic area. This can be a cactus in the southwest, mountain peak in the west, swamps in the southeast, etc. Anything from mountains, lakes, rivers, wildlife, plantlife, lighthouse etc.

The stipulation is that it should be at least 26 miles from your home via google maps. I came up with this from averaging the distance of my last two rides. No verification necessary, I just thought it'd be a good idea to have a wide range of possibilities and also make it into a decent ride.

There's no rolling your bike out of the garage and popping down the street on this one.

Go ride!

If the rain would stop pouring I'd be on it. Was waiting for it to stop so my wife would ride with me to the water tower

I can't keep up with you guys having to host them to a sight and resize them. Wish we could just post straight from our phones and I would give you guys a run for your money. I'm going to keep trying!

Why can't you post from your phone?? Use the photobucket app or similar.

There's time. I have been taking the pics with a camera and then coming home and uploading to photobucket. Having to go at least 26 miles in this challenge helps too, no pulling around the block for an easy neighborhood shot.

It's fair game and I hope somebody gets it tomorrow because I plan to do some more riding.

This is the Delaware Water Gap, right next to the Delaware River. Its a little over 30 miles from my house, but this does not qualify for the challenge since this picture was not taken today.

I pulled in to this same overlook today, snapped a pic and rode away without really looking at it. Turns out there was some lint in the lens on my iphone so the picture came out all blurry. Its tough to fish around for a cell phone in my one piece leather suit (no pockets) and then try to take a picture with thick leather gauntlet gloves on, but I'll do better next time. Enough of my excuses, this is a picture thread so enjoy the pic.

Seeing as you seem to be the only one who was able to ride at least 52 miles this weekend, I give it a go.

You definitely meet the spirit of the thread by getting out to ride, even though you had a camera issue.

Go ahead and pick the next subject.

How about the beach, taken from an island? It was a 2-1/2 hour ride plus a ferry from home.

Next up: your bike an an aircraft. Sorry, but I'm not gonna scroll through the whole thread right now to see if that's been done yet.

The aircraft thing has already been done, page 4 or 5 I thinl. I'll concede to the gentleman on the blue cruiser, as long as he picks a new challenge that hasn't been met already.

I was going to get Mt Rushmore in a pic for you but it didn't meet the requirements. It was only 16 miles for me. Also, it rained all weekend again.

I'm on this one (the dam.)

Be back in an hour or two.

ETA and here we are. Great ride, sometimes you just feel like fucking Steve McQueen. It was nice to be back on the bike after several months.

ETA 2, beat by 6 minutes.

http://i443.photobucket.com/albums/qq153/wookie1562/DSC00571_zpsymehpcmi.jpg

And a bonus, the glory hole. The subject of much wonderment and amazement in youtube videos. In the years I've lived here, the water hasn't been high enough to see it in action.

Ok, unless there are any freight cars parked, which there weren't today, this is the only graffiti I know of in my town.

It's about 5 miles east of our town. Funny thing is I believe some of the "artwork" might be from one of our own arfcom members here, but done many years ago.

Next up, your bike with your state's official flower.

Ok, no action in a few days, so I'm modifying the challenge.

Your bike with either the states official flower, OR!!!!!

Your bike with an abandoned or working gold, silver, or coal mine. Hell, any mine, asbestos, whatever.....

A couple days ago I would have got a bunch of ski areas on the way back from Vermont. Today I give you Windblown Cross Country Ski Area. I was just wondering where to go for a ride to when the new post email notification came through.

Next up: Your bike and a race track.

Only race track I could think of. It was a 110 mile round trip. This is a pig racing track in the back. You can see the sponsor signs advertising to the left.

This is in a little town on the way the way to Redlodge, MT.

How about your bike and a historical marker/info sign along a highway.

Yes pick another! I know police bikes around here are very, very rare. Only seen one on patrol in 10 years. They mainly use them for parades.
