Sorry, didn't even think about it...

I'm not making big numbers yet. 337awhp/369awtq (so about 405/445 at the flywheel) on 25-26psi. I'm bolt-ons only and 93 Pump (no need for E85 yet and still stock turbo)... I'm going to be building it mostly for track/road course/time attack, so no need for big power. Still walks SRT8's and 5.0's right now, so I'm happy. lol Eventually I'll be sleeving the block and building the head, then running a close-to-stock sized turbo (slightly bigger). The goal being to spool low and rev high for maximum responsiveness and fun on both the track and long twisty roads... :)

Clean car. I was gonna go with a white Evo X myself. But the allure of a big NA V8 was to much

Volk TE37's?

Thanks!

I actually grew up building domestic V8's (FBody's and Mustangs), and while I've had a few that were faster than my X, none of them came close in terms of fun. I couldn't be happier! Love her... ;)

Not Volk's (I wish). Those are Avid's. :)

That's more than enough to get the job done.

The power that guys are getting out of those 4B's is very, very impressive.

Yes it is!

And yeah, it's crazy. Especially if you consider that 400hp at the motor is 200hp per liter. That like an LS1 making 1140hp... Crazy what these little motors can do. lol

The thought of a v8 miata has crossed my mind a couple times, but after seeing what a big-ass single turbo LSx can manage, I think the GTO may be stayin' with me for a little while longer.

Those 7.0 LS3's are a little spendy, though.

If we're talking stock, 7.0L is the LS7, 6.2L is the LS3/LS9, 6.0L is LS2

My LS7 is putting down 540 at the wheels. Cam, headers, .020" decked stock heads, Airaid intake (don't think it added anything).

Texas speed sells 427 LS3 shortblocks for "decent" money.

If you see anybody with a smashed C6Z, let me know.

My 1930 Ford Model A.  All original steel, only upgrade is 12v conversion with alternator.

With the transferable Thompson... because you can't have a 1930s gangster car without a Thompson.

Most recent pictures of my car. It landed in FL a week or so ago and is awaiting a title. While it's there, the shop is going to paint it.

I see what you mean now. Going with that much stroke in a stock block kinda limits your power adders. I went with a LME 445LSX myself

I'm partial to N/A.

If I were going to go with boost, I'd likely go 370 LQ9. I know people are having success with 15-18 psi on aluminum blocks, but I'd rather not push it.

...to post my Ridgeline. There, now the rest of you can
I think I've seen less than 10 of those in person since they went into production.

There's a buttload of them for sale around here
Does that mean they're any good?

Dunno, never been in one, just know that most used car lots near me have at least one.

I've got them on my Z, they're much better than the original Gforce Sports.
I was going to go with the AS3's for my last set but they weren't out in my sizes yet, I've been told I made the right choice for my car.
(I've got friends at Michelin here in SC where they do a lot of the design and testing)

Some guys were outside a neighbor's place painting or repairing something this morning when I left for work.  They both looked over when I started my car and watched as I drove by.

I'm not sure that feeling will ever get old.

I have at least 3 kids in the neighborhood try to get me to do a burn out with my 95 or 05 when I drive through.

I wont shit where I eat when it comes to driving fast in a residential area(usually 5 under due to kids).   But I do occasionally reply to their request with a quick blip of the throttle.    My 95 gets lots or random compliments for it's idle and sounding like a muscle car.   My 05 uncorks and sounds pissed off as hell at 3500-5500 rpm.

I need to get an exhaust on my 2015 coyote, it is too quiet.

Also cannot wait to hear the new GT350 uncorked.

Glad to hear it.  I had them on my GTI and loved them, but I wasn't sure if they would be appropriate for my Mustang.  FWD hatch versus RWD coupe, you never know if the same tire will work.

For the money, I haven't found a better option. It'll spin under 30 if you stand on it, but I've never had a traction issue that wasn't driver related.

If it never rained here, I'd run NT05's year round, but AL isn't known for consistent weather.

Ran across one this morning on I85 between Auburn and Shorter.
