If you are running 315/35-17...

I say 3.55 or 3.73.

My 95 Cobra is running 3.73s and doesnt make the HP/Torque you make and I am not quite happy with them.

I listened to my drag racing buddy and went 3.73s.   He was pushing for 4.10 but fuck that.   Too short legged.   I like to wind my gears out and like to be able to hit 60 in 2nd gear.    The 3.73s I wish would get me just a little further along in each gear.

My 05 GT is 3.55s and is about perfect on 285/40-18.

My 15 GT Perf Pack is 3.73s on huge 305/35-19s and 3.73s still seem too short.   3.55 would have been perfect I think.

3.08 stock gears in my 95 SUCKED.    By comparison 3.73s are way better but shit I wish I went 3.55.

Worth noting my 95 Cobra is running out of steam around 5800rpm due to intake/heads.

Engine rebuild and it will goto 6500 which is in keeping with my 05 and 15 for where I shift if I string them out.

But the 95 is on TINY tires compared to the 05 and 15.  Over 1.5 inch in diameter difference.

Really start to see differences in MPH with gearing/tire changes.

Was quite an experience going from 3.08 rear gearing to 3.73 on the 95.

NICE! I'm seriously considering hunting a wrecked 5th gen ZL1 to steal the blower.

Might as well grab the whole LSA while you can so you can get the dished pistons and forged bottom end. There's a lot more to it than just the blower.

I didn't know that. If the chance comes up, I was planning on buying the whole car anyway.  I have another project my SS motor can go in.

If you buy new, get the 2018 ZL1 1LE. They have had a year of the LT4 to work out any bugs. The LSA on the other hand can be safely modded up to 1000 rwhp. Have fun! It's a blast driving around and getting double takes. Few believe that an old grey headed fart in a convertible can run with the young bucks!

I've started thinking some hyper silver VMR 810's would look kickass, and ditch a little more weight.

Black wheels just aren't doin' it for me anymore.

Meh, all the bugs were worked out years ago on the Z06s.    Jk, they still have overheating issues.  But the 2017 ZL1s are fine!

Haha, yeah I hear that.  I'm on my 2nd set of grilles and I'm bored with them already, and I think I wanna switch to a Corsa axle-back because I'm bored with my black Magnaflows

I think the 810s are the same as the Drifts except for the area where the center-cap is, the 810 is flat there while the Drifts have a raised portion.

I have a tiny garage, and way too much shit! Stuff just seems to pile up. Yesterday morning, I could barely fit the Mustang in the garage by itself. Spent all day yesterday and most of today cleaning up. One trip to dump "environmental waste" and one trip to the dump, plus a few new metal shelves later...

My '04 Mach 1 and a new to me '01 Bullitt. Bullitt has a rebuilt engine that then sat for a year. Just did a full tune up on her and she's running like new. Plan on doing a full "late model" restore on her as money allows. For now I'll drive her and enjoy her as is.

Not terrible, I have driven my c6 almost every day for 2 years so it kinda feels huge and awkward in the weirdest way lol. Doesn't really ride that different than the 2017 I test drove.

A more recent photo - now on drag radials this pass was my best so far at 10.94 in some crappy humid low pressure air...  Car is otherwise bone stock, no tune, no nothing.  :D

Next change will be lower rear gears, which should get me into the 10.6's on a perfect day.

Recently got my dream car.  2017 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack.  I love this car so much.  The only issue I have with it at all is the stock 245s Dodge puts on these are way too small to handle 485 HP.  At some point, probably after this winter, I am going to swap them for some 275s.
