Seen too many poor-running cam-only, HCI, and big stroker cars to go down that road first.

And thank you very much. I'm fortunate enough to be the second owner and she was stock when I bought her.

Add a stall and you will love the car even more.  I had a 3600 Yank SS and it was perfect.

And I completely agree. Back in the day a lot of people thought my 02 Z28 had motor work.  Nope.  Just bolt ons running high 11s.  Wasn't even tuned(only adjusted trans for stall) and on stock suspension and 17x11 heavy ZR1 replicas.  I'm over here like "I'm sorry your cammed LS1 isn't faster, nerd :("

A Performabuilt 4L60E, Circle D or FTI 4k stall, and a FAB 9" with 3.73's are my big items to purchase this year. Once I do that and put it on a 17x7/15x10 drag setup I imagine heads will roll.

Washed the car a bit today, meaning I pressure washed it.  Water seems to bead up well from the last time I waxed it so for now it's GTG.

Installed new BFG AT's a few weeks ago, they seem good.  I haven't applied any tire shine and it shows but I'll wait until I formally wash the car later on.  The new tires definitely fill out the wheel wells better.

It's a 2012.  I haven't yet taken it out on anything worthwhile.  I grew up in Utah and there were plenty of old logging trails that were easy to access and reasonably challenging, let alone everything to do down in Southern Utah.  We're hopefully moving back West in a year and a half so with any luck I'll have more of that to play around with soon.

Look into rock chip protection for rear quarter panels.  My perf pack showed rock chips within 2k miles.

Also maybe cheap Z28 style front fender/rock guards.

Paint is thinner than tissue paper.

I'll definitely check into that. I'm going to have the ceramic coating done to the car and the wheels, that should help with some of it

While the convertible is nice and the 3.7 does ok, I missed having the V8 and we didn't put the top down as much as we thought we would.

I like the shape of the s550 with the top down, but I probably wouldn't use it much either.

BTW, I need some '13 tail lights if you see one wrecked anywhere.

I traded a 2012 CTS-V sedan in on it. While that was in a different league, that 6.2 Runs really well! I smoked an old 4.6 Mustang in it!

Little something we brought home last month. Automatic 2013 with 34k. No mods. We're to old to need to go any faster that it does in stock trim.

ETA 1/11/17

Last day we'll be able to do this for a while. Last week it was 1 degree. Today damn near 80. Friday we're going to have an ice storm with accumulated ice of up to 3/4" thick.

Probably not. Only thing left is boost or nitrous (refill is a 200 mile roundtrip).

Next thing will probably be a set of dedicated autocross wheels/tires.

Oh, I did put a Mechman alternator on it.

On December 19th, I traded my 2015 Challenger R/T in on this brand new 2016 Challenger Scat Pack 392.
Only mods I've done to it so far are a Diablo PCM and tune, and a Hellcat airbox and headlight intake.

Either one is a win in all honesty.  If want an auto and four doors then obviously the Charger is your car (make sure you check ALL the boxes).  If you want two doors and the choice of a manual or auto then Challenger is your car.  Both are fast as all get out.  Autos are tad quicker (in this day and age), but manuals are just down right fun.

If you want the Devil himself then wait for the 2018 DEMON Hellcat.

Challenger only
auto only
no back seat
More then 200lbs lighter
HP/TQ not released but will be A LOT more then any other brand planning to put out.

I love my Hellcat, but it's scary to think they're making something even faster and more powerful!  Car guy in me loves it though, haha!

From an engineering standpoint I really love the C6 Z06: 7.0L V8, 505 HP, 3130 LBS, etc. However, I feel like the designers didn't know how to incorporate the headlights and grille after doing pop-ups and no grille for so long. The C7 stingray/Z51 is so much better looking (not crazy about the C7 Z06/GS front fender extensions) but obviously you can't appreciate the looks from the driver's seat. What a conundrum!

with autocross up here i get my butt kicked by minis and Miatas all of the time because all of our courses are so tight and small.

the C6 might not look as cool at the C7 but the C6 z06 as you said is a monster.  Thats my CTS-V in the background as well and it can hold its own as well and still be a Cadillac its a lot of fun.
