I traded in my '14 Wrangler and sold my '87 Buick Grand National and ended up with this........'13 Boss 302 in Grabber Blue with 17.5K miles (before the commute home from Texas) with zero mods.

The Jeep was a great vehicle and the GN was just a monster so I didn't get rid of either of them because they were somehow lacking. I just wanted something more fun to drive on a regular basis. I spent too much time worrying about adding miles to the GN or putting it at risk of damage when taking it out. Kinda took the fun out of it. I'll pick up a decent older truck or jeep before next winter.

I was dead set on a '13 and could have picked up a GHIG or SBY closer to home but I was dead set on Grabber Blue. It just nails it for me.

Loooooooong!

Not bad but the weather wasn't great and I mostly took it easy on the car. Tennessee, Arkansas and Texas were all new to me but they all looked nice from the highway. 37 hours of driving over 3 days. Nice!

I personally like the hood/grille of the '12s but the taillights of the '13s.

Can't go wrong either way.

Due to the weather I haven't been able to drive it much but what an animal. I removed the sidepipe restrictor plates and loaded an AED tune. Sweet fancy Moses!!!!!

I like 'em both but I don't care for the black rockers on the '12s except for on the white version. Truth be told I eoulda bought either year or color combo based on condition. Not much difference in price either......all low $30s with about 20k miles.

My list was.....
Under 30k miles......check
All original......check
Near mint condition (it is a used car)......check
2013......check
Grabber Blue......check
Track Key.......

Got to run up the hills yesterday.

I am off for 2 weeks if I can just survive work one more day tomorrow.

Gonna go chase wildflowers driving all over hell and back while stopping to fly racing drones and take pics.   Then hop back in the car and haul ass to the next spot while I charge batteries.

You need a drone that can follow your car down that road and film it! Beautiful scenery.

You should have seen what was around the bend.

Will try to upload a picture of it later.

Spot is 15 munutes from home and gives about 10 miles of really great driving roads if you dont mind slowing down for blind corners.   Cows, dirt on the road, and a random bicycle could ruin a day if you were completely stupid.

That sucks.

I don't even bother using the grey key anymore. The engine braking with the track key is just too good to miss out on.

Oh.

Almost forgot.

One of the places I flew at I crashed my drone on the opposite side of a steep ravine.   On my hike back up the steep assed hill I found the lower grill insert to an SN197 a Mustang that went over the side...

My work week began with watching a guy shit in his hands and rub it all over his face like shaving cream...

It was a bad omen.

So I need two weeks of scenic views to erase that memory from my mind.

May throw the go pro-clone onto the car when I run up the hills to go drive and fly.

The camera doesnt portray the elevation change but the car in the picture is driving down a steep downhill.   Almost 1.5 miles of the direction that car is driving is down hill.   Then it quickly goes back up hill with more switch backs for about 3-4 miles before it becomes a more stereotypical mountain road.

Shot was taken from directly above my car in the pic above.   Tight little twisty switch back with an elevation change at that corner behind my car.   Round the left and you begin a good decent while being treated to an awesome view while being able to visually clear a HUGE section of road for traffic as well as cows.

Same road about 10 miles further up taken last year.

Rattled a goddamn bolt out of the exhaust manifold tonight and developed a hell of an exhaust leak.   Now I get to dick with doing a new gasket later in the week.   It is on the side with the EGR tube as well which I HATE fucking with.

Ohwell.   Just said yesterday that it has been driving pretty well.  It can sit in the garage on time out for awhile.

Bought this one in Dec 2015...

Believe it or not, my particular car is currently the quickest and fastest in the 1/4 mile among all purely stock Hellcats (no tires, no tune, no nothing. Mine's had an oil change since new, nothing else yet)  It's also the first purely factory stock Hellcat in the 10's.  :)

I've had this one since 2007, bought it new as well.  It's mostly just a toy but I do tow with it fairly regularly..
