Did a little camping last week. Unfortunately no off-roading, just some forest service roads.

Went to the local OHV park yesterday. Mostly avoided the mud but I did go through a couple puddles. Check out what the mud did to the wheels, I'm really tempted to paint wheels and sliders this color.

Looks good!!

Love that Gx470. They're going to be hard to find within a year or two.

Ijust got back from driving Metaltech 4x4's shop GX470 from Oregon to Colorado for FJ Summit XI and back. Great ride, both of the road and on the trails.
Are you still running the air setup?
The one I drove had rear long travel and Ironman shocks. And their front and rear bumpers.

Popularity is growing fast, and they didn't sell a ton of them, so I believe you about becoming hard to find. They're truly a hidden gem in the 4x4 world. I bet Lexus will be wishing they had a warehouse full of NOS GX470.

No air bags here, I have the Toytec Boss 2.0 lift. Love it!

Going to take it offroad near an old military base mid September. Can't wait to see how it does. Hope my sliders and skids show up in time.

I know this is old.  But I did this for years in my 2011 truck.  Never could get all the damned brass out of it.  Finally got it detailed maybe 4 months ago, and the detailer was like holy shit dude.  Perma brass bed.

My ‘93 Bronco, 5.0 V8, just rolled 191k miles.

This is after new 4.56’s, Truetrac in the rear, 2.5” lift and shocks that ended up getting me 5.5”, 15x10’s, 33/12.5s.

This was a recent beach trip with the fiancé and sister-in-law.

Working on restoring it. Obviously needs body work, some interior work, new speakers, really would like new bumpers, at least a new rear bumper with a spare tire carrier. I can’t stand having my spare tire in the back of the truck.

Eventually I’d like to swap in an EFI 460 and solid axle swap with one tons.

Fuck Crows 4x4 conversions....   unsafe, terrible welds.  This may be getting totaled. If not, it is going to U Joint Offroaf to be fixed.

Great looking 470, man!!

I'm brand ambassador for Metaltech, which means I rep them at events and show, provide (technical and install) assistance here in the southeast.

If if you mention EvilFJ when you call in an order, or use that code at online checkout, you should get 5% off your order.

Well shit. I put a set of their rear links in my 4Runner a few months ago. 5% off would have been nice!

I really like them though.

Yep,  That's the cleanest it's been, right after I bought it a couple of years ago.  Great "woods" vehicle.  Roads and trails optional.
