Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Proper way to wire up a power window tailgate on a Chevy Suburban that only works with the key?

I currently have a manual tailgate window on my 1989 Suburban and have broken yet another crank handle. I want to install a power window tailgate, and don't really care about being able to roll it up or down from the inside. I jsut want to be able to use the key in the tailgate to operate it. Can I just run a the power wire to a continually hot power block to accomplish this?
