Installing LED lights in the cluster of my '96 XJ. Came across these two harnesses. What would they go to in a higher model?
No idea why it's rotated 90 degrees, it's not like that on my desktop.

Probably for accessories not installed on your model.
They won't make 8 different wire harnesses, it's cheaper to produce just one and let the extra plugs go to waste. |

It's been awhile but I think one was for the rear wiper or defogger and I think the other was a throwback to the non radio clock
Either way reply one has it |

They are for fog lights and rear defrost. I wonder if I can go steal a fog light rocker switch from the parts lot and use that for some aftermarket lights.

If you use a relay it wouldn't really matter how much current the lights draw, the light switch only has to carry enough current to latch the relay. |
