I want to buy this:

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/4718746882.html

Then I want to rip the interior out. Paint it primer grey. And beat it like a red headed step child.

I want to treat it in a way that will make the BMW purists vomit.

I had a Z4 before. Loved it.  Sold it when I moved back to Alaska full time.  But I always tried to keep it nice and took good care of it.  I want to get one and beat on it.

wouldn't buy it for a daily driver, especially in the AK.
If you have a DD and want it as a toy, then FUCK YEAH.
I would build a track car just legal enough to drive on the streets. Z series BMW's are bad ass!

And, you may have BMW purists confused with BMW posers.
BMW purists know Zed's are race cars (even the 3), and should be flogged on a regular basis

Awesome.

Needs a giant cow catcher welded to the front of it.

I was looking for one like that a year or two ago for about the same reason, just a toy to abuse. I say go for it!

Tag for outcome. One of the sweetest looking cars of recent times and I'd love to have one.

You might be waiting for a while.

As much as I'd like to do this, it will not be happening soon.   I can't justify it now.  No tracks near where I am.  Not enough convertible weather.

Good news is these are only going to get cheaper.

To buy.  No BMW will ever be cheap to work on.
