Anyone have a Mitsubishi outlander ? Good bad ?
Wife needs a car and it's one of the options she's looking at.

Best to avoid.  Not exactly an outstanding vehicle, and you have to deal with a small dealer network, parts availability (and pricing)

I'd look into a Mazda CX-5 for a small suv or a Toyota Highlander for a midsize suv.

I'd pass as well.  Get a Highlander or Mazda or something with better resale value.

Even if you "never plan on selling it", you also never plan on totalling it out and getting a check for it.  Resale value helps.

But if you do buy one, make sure to get GAP insurance.
