Just picked this ole' gal up over the weekend. '05 with 1,400 original miles. Purchased her to replace an uninsured '07 Busa that was stolen from me and never recovered. Gave everything a once over, bleed all the brakes and clutch,  new oil and filter, as well as a radiator and fuel tank flush and she's ready for summer. Giddy up.

I'm a Kawi fan myself, but I do love the Busa. Nice bike! Be safe!

Thanks. Meant for this post to go in the "show us your bikes"  thread. lol Oh well...

I'm a Kawi fan as well. Had the ZX-11 way back in the day, when it was king of the hill.

Nice! That's very low miles. Enjoy and be safe. Seems like every year drivers are getting worse down here.

Nice...looks like it's breaking the speed limit just sitting there
Never rode one but have heard stories. Enjoy the summer.

Hell no. One day I'm gonna get back into the black on the whole insurance deal!

GunMetal Gray is my favorite color, be it bike or car. As for riding in Florida, well you've got me there. However, she will see the mountains spring and fall. (WV spring, TN / NC fall)

1400 miles? In FL?

Sure it doesn't have 140,000 miles?

That's what I was thinking.  I guess it's possible.

got a buddy with a mildly tweaked 'busa. He stuck his GoPro on the bars for a cool hero video only to see the flap of skin under his chin slapping around wildly.

Nice bike.

Congrats on finding a nice unmolested one.

Every busa around here has a 4' swingarm and all manner of useless, garish crap festooned on it.

Ive had 2 busas ripped and crashed one
The torque makes them wheelie easy

^ I would have little use for a sport bike boasting 140K on the odometer, so yes, I'm sure. But as they say, pics or it didn't happen. So here you go, a hundred miles later...

Yea, same here.  It took me a couple months, and a willingness to drive to find an unmolested one in the right shape, with the right mileage. The right color sealed the deal.

Original cluster. Original tires. etc. etc. Low mile bikes aren't really uncommon if you're willing to look around. I've actually looked at three '04 - '07 busa's with under 2,500 original miles in the last two and a half months. (all three within driving distance of my home)
Only downside to this one was a train wreck of fuel tank interior from nine years of neglect. Took a day of my time, and a couple hundred bucks to get it right.

So when are you going to chrome it out, add LED lighting, and a +6 in. swing arm?

;P

But really, looks good. I like gun metal grey too

Nice find! Love the color and the mileage can't be beat - it's just broken in!

No chrome or nasty swing arm! Just ditch the stock exhaust and you're good to go!

I never understood the draw of a Hyabusa. I've been riding since I was 15, had many bikes, of many flavors.

The 'Busa I just never could like the lines. Too smooth, rounded.

At least they arent tiny bike cramped, and can be comfortable. Well, sort of.

They've always been my least favorite jellybean as well, but the OPs is much less hideous than most are.  I'd ride it (long distances at high speeds).
