Well stumbled on a 800 a few months ago i was really after a 1200 but couldnt fing a good used one. Well wouldn't you know it i stumble on this a couple weeks ago. took her out for a 350mi run yesterday

That is my dream bike. My dad and aunt each have one.

We are trying to upgrade houses, so no go for me for awhile. Or ever

Yeah, the kid and I just brought home a 1150 GS yesterday. Very smooth bike, lotsa power. So now we have a 650 GS for sale, great shape low mileage.

The GS series is an engineering tour de force, a road bike that goes offroad. think of it as a dirt road touring bike..

Feh, you're tall enough for a GSA! You can lower them with seat and suspension to give you enough leg room. I have a friend who's barely 5'4" that rides with no problemo.

Nice bike OP...now get to breaking stuff! No use having an adventure bike if you don't put it places it has no business going!

Thanks i was and am still really torn i have an 800 for my more serious off road adventures but am still really wanting to ride the triumph explorer which also seems like an amazing bike. He is really happy with his tenere too.
