Great choice! Love that blue, it's even nicer in person.

Very nice. While I could never buy a V6 "muscle car" it does look damn nice inside and out. I made the mistake of test driving a '12 Mustang GT with the 5.0 and 6 speed manual this spring.... I could not begin to afford it but I really wanted to drive one and wow.

She looks great, congrats!

I'm not a mustang guy, but that color is really interesting. At first I was like wow, that's bad, but I kinda like it after looking at the pics. Not my choice, but I can dig it.

I like the new mustangs, but not those crazy day-glow colors they are available in. If I bought a new mustang it would be dark gray, same as the last four cars I've owned.

It's not that I dislike colors, I dislike the attention those colors draw. I don't drive slow enough to get away with atomic green or nuclear blue.

Edit: OP, did you get the 3.31 rear end or the stock 2.73?

+1
fuel economy
as everyday car v6 is ok.

I'd be lying if I said the GT w/ the v8 is not very tempting. However; GT v8 => crappier MPG and higher monthly payment, no thanks!

What is this "monthly payment" stuff you speak of?

Damn Ford got it right with the last seven or eight years of Mustangs. Those are beautiful cars inside and out.

If your GT was stock or even lightly modded, the V6 was probably faster

Nice, now get that thing tinted ASAP, also I can't stand the "mustang" stripes at the bottom but that's just me.

It will be in "Grabber Blue". I will definitely post a picture when I have it in my driveway.

UPDATE {20-JUNE-2012}: I picked it up yesterday and it is awesome. Here are some pictures:

Thanks!

Never really thought of it like that. I just didn't want some boring grey. Too many cars like that out there.

Thought about the Grabber Green, but that is just too "loud".

Automatic is due to a bad knee. Extended periods of shifting, such as taking the scenic way, causes stiffness and eventual pain in my knee.

Planning to get tinting. Its a bit complicated because the tint place said they need it all day and they are only open during the week 8-5p. That is too much of a hassle.

I am going to get a quote from a different place.

you should, the tint place I used for my GT uses a plotter which means that they keep a database of window shapes then a computer basically cuts it and the tinter just has to apply and make small corrections. My entire car only took 45 minutes.

Cool car.

The modern V6's have more HP and torque than old V8's. It's just the way things are going. You just have to get past the old school mentality.

Enjoy it!

Drop in a 3:73 gear and its like adding 50hp.
You will still get 29mpg on the freeway...

actually the manual getrag transmissions suck. All the 10 second 2010+ mustangs are running autos
